🔗 Share this article The Opening Game Pass Titles of 2026 Reveal Xbox Is Still Fighting. Everywhere you go, enthusiasts continue to ring the knell for Microsoft's gaming division. The platform was lately surpassed in sales by a platform few have heard of. Dedicated Xbox communities began covering on PS5 topics for the first time. The past year represented a period of total upheaval for the Xbox ecosystem. Yet, based exclusively on the titles headed to the service in 2026, it is apparent that the green gaming company remains determined to engage players with quality releases on its key platform. The Available Now Titles The two games you can play right now as you read this, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, aren't the showstoppers. The true anticipation is for the upcoming titles to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's deserving of attention. Upcoming Headline Games Starting January 13th, the platform will add the underrated Star Wars Outlaws, an open-world game that deviates from conventional open-world tropes with a cosmic robbery tale. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village and its giant Lady Dimitrescu, which our 2021 review called "a superb mixture of frights and fights." Noteworthy Smaller Games But even the smaller games coming to Game Pass soon deserve recognition. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, the criminally overlooked roguelike that is incredibly fun, drops on Jan. 7th — and it's worth experiencing whether or not you experienced the first Lost in Random game. The British post-apocalyptic game from last year could captivate you in about 15 minutes flat. Atomfall, a game blending infiltration and resource management by the developers behind Sniper Elite, also warrants your attention. Those with the top-tier subscription also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about. A Robust Selection of Games All in all, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, and they are also not tentpole Microsoft studios games that validate the subscription alone. Yet, this selection are rock solid. It offers a healthy blend of old games you might have missed and new-ish games that lacked the recognition they deserved the first time around — which makes them excellent choices to find a new audience on Game Pass. Hope you're ready to part ways with The Grinch Christmas Adventures, though.
