New England equaled their top unbeaten stretch from the Brady period as they overcame AFC East rivals the Jets by 13 points in professional football

First-year standout TreVeyon Henderson led the way with three touchdowns as the Patriots secured an eight-game winning streak for the first time since iconic QB Tom Brady's final season with the team in 2019

The triumph bolsters the New England's lead at the summit of the division as they improved to a 9-2 record, with the New York bottom after dropping to two victories and eight defeats

The Jets had gone in front at their home field with QB Fields scoring a five-yard TD to finish the Jets' opening drive

But the New England fought back in the second period as Henderson rushed for two short rushing scores before the running back caught a pass from Drake Maye at the back of the end zone in the middle of the third period to make it 21 to 7

"It was a key occasion for him stepping up, and it's been fantastic for him to keep earning playing time," Maye commented on the rookie. "He desires to be outstanding."

Fields threw to John Metchie late in the third period to close the gap for the Jets but Borregales converted a pair of field goals in the final period as the home side sealed the triumph
